Chicken Wings

Chicken Wings, split (as many as you want)

(HONEY LIME GARLIC DIPPING SAUCE)
¼ c. honey
1 tbsp. lime zest (1 lime)
1 tbsp. lime juice (1 lime)
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

Flour, for coating
Oil, for cooking

1. In a large bowl, mix together all but the flour & oil.
2. Place flour in Ziploc bag, toss in wings, and coat.
3. In large skillet, fry wings in hot oil, at least 1” deep. After they are cooked, dip wings into the honey/lime/garlic mixture to coat well. Serve immediately.

*note*: try adding 1 tsp. soy sauce & 1 tsp. hot sauce to the honey/lime/garlic sauce. Mmmm.

BUFFALO DIPPING SAUCE - Can use a bottle of Franks Buffalo Sauce
8 oz. softened butter (1 stick)
8 oz. hot sauce

THAI DIPPING SAUCE
1 cup sweet chili sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Sloppy Joes

2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion, diced
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 3/4 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp. mustard
3 Tbsp.  brown sugar
1 Tbsp.  Worcestershire
1 1/2 cups water

1. Brown the beef, onion, chili powder, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce.
2. Add in ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and water.
3. Simmer on low until ready to serve. Serve on buns.

Nieman Marcus Dip & Spread

6 slices of bacon, crisp fried & crumbled
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
1 small pkg. sliced almonds
3-4 green onions, chopped
1 c. sour cream
1 c. mayo
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Mix mayo & sour cream - add other ingredients. Mix & chill. Serve w/ crackers or wheat thins (reduced fat).

Hot Fudge Sauce

6 Tbsp. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 c. evaporated milk

1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a light boil, stirring constantly.

Park City Stew

2.5 lbs. beef stew meat, cubed
8 med. potatoes, cubed
8 med. carrots, cubed
2 bay leaves
1 pkg. dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 sm. can tomato sauce or tomato soup
1 can corn
1. In a skillet, brown stew meat until brown on the outside.
2. Place meat & juices into a crockpot.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients, except for corn. Add corn 10 min. before serving.
4. Cook on high for 5-6 hours.

Chicken Pasta Salad (aka The Best Darn Salad in the World)

3-4 c. chicken breast, cooked and diced
3 c. Fusilli or Cellentani pasta, cooked and drained
2 c. Celery, diced or sliced
2 c. Red Grapes
2 c. Apples w/ peel, diced
20 oz. Can Pineapple Tidbits, drained
¼ c. Green Onion, sliced
Cashews
Lg. Can Mandarin Oranges
1 Can Black Olives, sliced

Dressing:
1 C. Lighthouse Coleslaw Dressing (found in the produce dept)
1 C. Mayonnaise

1. Mix everything together except for olives, mandarin oranges and cashews.
2. Then mix dressing together.
3. When the salad is mixed you top it with rings of cashews, mandarin oranges and black olives around the bowl. It looks really pretty.You could have more cashews on the side for people to add to their salad.

Texas Sheet Cake (Pioneer Woman's)


Combine in a mixing bowl:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

In a saucepan, melt:
2 sticks butter.
Add 4 heaping tablespoons cocoa. Stir together.
Add 1 cup boiling water, allow mixture to boil for 30 seconds, then turn off heat.
Pour over flour mixture, and stir lightly to cool.

In bowl, pour 1/2 cup buttermilk. (If you don't have buttermilk, pour 1/2 cup milk and add 1/2 tsp. vinegar and let sit for 5 minutes).
Add:
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Stir buttermilk mixture into butter/chocolate mixture. Pour into Pam-sprayed sheet cake pan and bake at 350-degrees for 18-20 minutes.

While cake is baking, make icing:

Chop 1/2 cup pecans finely.
Melt 1 3/4 sticks butter in a saucepan.
Add 4 heaping tablespoons cocoa, stir to combine, then turn off heat.
Add:
6 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
Stir together. Add pecans, stir together, and pour over warm cake.

The best Banana Bread ever!!!

 I know I'm a bit prejudice, but I've tasted many banana bread recipes in my lifetime, and NONE have come close to this recipe.  These 2 loaves get scarfed down in a matter of minutes.  So moist, so delicious, and so sweet.  If you're looking for a dry banana bread, you're looking in the wrong place!

2 bananas, ripened
1 ¾ cup sugar
½ cup melted butter (1 stick)
3 eggs
1 ½ cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
3 heaping Tbsp. sour cream
nuts, chopped (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Grease and lightly flour 2 loaf pans.
3. Cream bananas, sugar and butter together.
4. Add eggs, one at a time.
5. Add dry ingredients and mix.
6. Add sour cream and nuts.
7. Pour mixture evenly between 2 loaf pans.
8. Bake at 325 for 55 minutes.

Salsa Chicken (Crockpot)

2-3 Skinless, boneless chicken breasts (frozen works well)
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 cup salsa

1. Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
2. Add frozen chicken breasts.
3. Sprinkle breasts with taco seasoning.
4. Top with salsa.
5. Cook on high for 3 hours, low for about 4-5 hours.
6. Take a fork and shred the chicken. 
7. May stir in sour cream (will make it orange color).
Place meat into quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc.
